How do I mirror the text for a physical teleprompter?
In the Studio Controller, open the 'Appearance' menu. You'll find 'Orientation' settings that allow you to flip the script horizontally or vertically with one click. This ensures it displays correctly on beam-splitter glass rigs.
Can I control the prompter speed remotely?
Yes! You can share the Controller link with a producer or technician. They can adjust the scroll speed (1-10), pause, and jump between segments in real-time from their own device while you read from the Talent Monitor.
Does it support foot pedals and remotes?
Absolutely. Online Prompter supports standard Bluetooth and USB keyboard shortcuts. You can use any foot pedal or presentation remote that maps to Arrow Keys or +/- keys to control scroll speed and playback.
Is there a limit to how many scripts I can have?
The Free plan allows for 3 concurrent scripts. Our Pro and Premium plans offer unlimited scripting, allowing you to manage libraries for entire video series or conference seasons.
Will it work if the studio internet is unstable?
The prompter script and playback engine load into your browser's memory. While you need a connection to sync changes between devices, the scroll will continue to work locally even if the network drops momentarily during a take.
